Hurricane Ridge

Saturday, November 8th brought another beautiful day in the Pacific Northwest! We decided to head up to the Alpine Region of Olympic National Park: Hurricane Ridge.

Our first stop was the Olympic National Park Sign. Mom wanted a picture. I wasn’t particularly interested but she got one anyway:

We stopped by the Visitor Center for information, but it was closed because of the government shutdown. There was a nice view down the hill to the Sound though:

We shortly learned the road to Hurricane Ridge was closed starting 5 miles up because of snow on the road. We got a few nice pictures from the pullouts lower down though:
